Coldplay's newest video for strawberry swing is amazing. Directed by the art collective Shynola, the video features stop-motion animation and sees lead-singer, chris martin, as a super hero in a world created completely out of chalk! An amazing cityscape, a walking, hat-wearing fish and giant killer squirrels...what more could you want!

I had a very wise cab driver who drove me to the airport in the dark, wee hours of the morning a few years ago. He was full of thoughts and witty comments and started talking about life and such. The two things i remember most from our conversation are the quotes above......."love it or leave it" and "we're all just sheep"................

the world's largest cupcake.....yum!

The world’s largest cupcake was unveiled this weekend at a car show in Michigan. Weighing in at 1,224-pounds, this triple vanilla delight with pink frosting, beat the former record holder eight times over!! It took 12 hours to bake and included 800 eggs and 200 pounds each of sugar and flour....at an estimated 2 million calories, it sounds pretty delicious to me.

The mastermind behind this sugary beast was Ryan Abood of GourmetGiftBaskets.com who assembled a cupcake "dream team" including baker George Algarin and crew from California's Merengue Bakery. Slices were sold to raise money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure breast cancer organization.

This is Home is a recently launched project that i stumbled upon via booooooom. Described as "a visual exploration of the concept of 'home,' across continents, oceans and neighborhoods", the project allows anyone to submit inspiring phrases or pieces of art which will be posted on the site. Viewers can vote for their favorite piece and the finalists will receive their design in a limited edition postcard pack. Amazing.....
